How a curenci loyalty program works

Your business would choose a percent of sale to offer as a rebate. It is paid to cardholders electronically when their curenci card is swiped at your POS. You will see the transaction on your account about 48 hours later after it has cleared all required processing channels and through the Federal Reserve.

The Cardholder's portion of the rebate is stored as cash on their card and can be spent at any business in the program. This is the beauty of a coalition program. Money accrued on a card from shopping around town can easily end up in your business.

When the rebate is issued at POS to the Cardholder, an equal part of the total rebate accrues in the account of the Cause, a local school, faith based organization or non-profit chosen by the Cardholder and is paid quarterly. When you issue a card, you as the merchant get to decide the default Cause. And unless a cardholder goes on line and changes it, your Cause will receive part of the cardholder's rebate.
